Hello Everyone,
With September ending and the temperatures getting brisker, we are truly in autumn now – the season of bundling up in thick coats and woolly jumpers to collect conkers, the clocks going back and consuming copious amounts of soup and anything spiced.
October is also home to Halloween – but the only thing scarier than that, is the amount of new things coming to Sew-Drops this month.
With plenty of opportunities to decorate your home with wreaths, table runners and pumpkins this Autumn, our new fabric for sale is sure to come in handy!

First up is the Tilda Fabrics Windy Days collection – featuring designs inspired by autumn’s inclement but charming weather (and tendency to blow your hat off and your umbrella inside out!).
The 5 fat quarter bundles, charm packs and double set of fabric buttons will be arriving here at Sew-Drops this month, in addition to brand new free patterns, available for digital download on the Tilda Fabrics website once the collection is fully launched.
These bundles will be great for making all-sorts of cosy decorations for your home, ranging from table runners and cushion covers to quilts and throws.
Next in our lovely line-up is Craft Cotton Co.’s V&A William Morris “Winter Berry” Collection. This collection, inspired by the works of William Morris held at the V&A, pays homage to the highly influential 19th century designer and the classic designs in this collection are perfect for crafts, displays and for use as dressmaking fabric and cushion covers.
We will also have a few new fabric bolts from existing collections – Bella Solids (x2) and Thatched (x6) from Moda Fabrics and the remaining 3 bolts from the Susybee “Sweet Bees” collection, of which we have the other 5 bolts available now!
Finally, the Birds & Bobbins collection by Debbie Shore is now available! This beautiful collection, equal part cute birdies and sewing accessories, will be perfect for decorating your crafting space and leave no confusion about what your two favourite things are.

If you’re looking for other timely fabrics to help welcome in this autumn season, we have many fabrics already available such as; Lewis & Irene’s “Under the Oak Tree”, “The Orchard” and “Country Life (Reloved)” in addition to Corinne Lapierre felt craft kits, Hawthorn Handmade embroidery hoops and Wrendale Designs cross stitch kits.
