Tuesday 1st December 2020
Hello Everyone,
Deck the Halls! Winter has officially arrived, meaning that we’re getting closer to December 25th, a.k.a. Christmas Day!
For all you last minute shoppers, please be warned, because our cut-off date for all Christmas orders is Sunday 20th December at 12 noon. However, once we have dispatched the orders with the Royal Mail postal service, we cannot guarantee that items will be delivered to you in time for Christmas.
All orders that are placed after that date will be dispatched after Boxing Day (approx. from 28th December 2020 – onwards).
So, what’s NEW at Sew-Drops? Well, Lewis & Irene’s Purrfect Petals fabrics were supposed to arrive in the middle of November, although, things didn’t quite go to plan (sorry about that). But now they’re here, in stock and available for you to buy – and I’m sure that everyone who LOVES cats will be smiling from whisker to tail once they see these beautiful fabrics!
With the release of or final fabric collection of 2020, our ‘COMING SOON’ section is pretty empty now. But don’t worry, because all new products, brands and fabric collections arriving in early 2021 will appear on New Year’s Day (1st January 2021) – so keep an eye out for those. I may even be using some of these new fabric brands in my mini sewing projects too (again, keep an eye out for those on our social media).
To all subscribers of the Sew-Drops E-Newsletter, I have now emailed the Winter 2020 / 2021 Newsletter to you, so please check your inboxes. If you would like to be added to the subscribers list, you can sign up via our Homepage (scroll down until you get to the ‘NEWSLETTER’ section) or email me at rebecca@sewdrops.co.uk and I’ll send you a copy.
Christmas is just around the corner, so I believe it’s time to add some much needed festive cheer into our lives (I think we’ve all earned it). Over the festive period, I’m hoping to get some of my own sewing and crafting projects finished off. For one of my projects, I’ll be whipping up some gingerbread men…for the Christmas tree that is, with Corinne Lapierre’s Gingerbread Men Felt Kit (which is available here on our website). Her kits are so lovely and really fun to make with friends and family (plus to give as little Secret Santa gifts), I can’t recommend them enough – that’s how much I love making and stocking them.
I’ll also be doing some actual baking too, I’ve recently been perfecting my take on a pineapple upside down cake (it’s delicious), as well as highlighting all the Winter programmes, once we get a copy of the Radio Times Christmas bumper edition – that’s one of our mini Christmas traditions (has been for years now). Like many of you, I’ll also be watching the classic Christmas films like The Snowman, Elf, The Wizard of Oz (I know this technically isn’t a Christmas film, but it’s always on around this time of year), etc. and of course, spending some quality time with the family.
Well that’s our last blog for 2020 folks, thank you all so much for reading. I’m really looking forward to our ‘New Year’ January 2021 Blog, featuring more updates on the latest news and products that’ll be arriving at Sew-Drops in the months to come!
I’d just like to finish off by wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🙂
Best Wishes,
Rebecca x
