Hello Everyone,
So, what’s new, what’s happening, and what’s (hopefully) arriving at Sew-Drops throughout the month of May?
What’s New In? – Firstly, we have the Liberty Wiltshire Shadows Collection. We’ve had lots of requests for this particular range over the last few months as it is unlike any Liberty fabrics collection we’ve had so far. The collection is made up entirely of blenders which you can pair up with our other Liberty ranges (and more), plus it comes in a total of 38 different colours! We currently have 10 x colours in stock, they are: –
Custard, Lemon, Clementine, Cherry, Raspberry, Dusky Lilac, Iris, Azure, Forest, and Leaf.
In the coming months, we will be increasing the number of colours on offer. We’d love to hear which shades you’d like us to stock. If you have any colour requests, then please get in touch.
Speaking of requests, we’re looking to add some ‘fresh’ brands to our website, particularly FABRIC brands. We have some ideas of our own, but we’d like to hear from you too. If you have any particular fabric brands that you love to sew with that you would like us to stock in the future, then please get in touch via email or telephone and let us know. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
What’s Happening Now? – As we prepare for some NEW fabric arrivals (fingers crossed), we’ve decided to offer a wonderful 20% off Liberty Fabrics ‘Hesketh House’ & ‘Summer House’ collections for the next 3 + weeks! – Offer ends on Thursday 27th May 2021 at Midday.
Also, we have recently added some new collections to our ‘COMING SOON’ section that will be arriving during the Summer holidays (July/August 2021): –
The first is ‘Keep Believing’ (due in June/July 2021) – this will be one of our new Christmas collections for 2021 and will reunite Lewis & Irene with Eva Melhuish, who you may remember designed the very popular ‘Tomten’s Christmas’ fabrics last year. The collection will feature all new festive panels for you to create an advent calendar, cushions, bunting, etc. as well as new fabric designs. Plus, a fan-favourite panel will also be returning too!
The second collection is ‘Country Life (Reloved)’ (due to arrive July/August 2021) – one of Lewis & Irene’s bestselling collections back in 2016 is making a comeback, and it’s even better than the original! This will be the first of their new ‘Reloved’ fabric collections and features a selection of wildlife associated with the countryside.
What’s Coming Soon? – Firstly, due to ongoing delays, we have made the decision to cancel the ‘Queen Bee’ collection that was due to arrive back in March 2021. However, over the last few weeks, we have been keeping in touch with Lewis & Irene in order to find out when the ‘Reflections’ collection will arrive. Well, I have good news, because we have been told that the collection is set to arrive by the end of the month. I really, really hope that it’s third time lucky.
Along with these two ranges, we are expecting the arrival of a NEW fabric brand in the middle of May, and believe me, it’s a good one! The brand is known worldwide for their many fabric collections and is extremely popular with sewers and crafters. Do you have any guesses as to who it could be? More will be revealed in the next few weeks, so keep an eye on our social media pages for any further updates.
