A Bundle of Fabrics – Jun. 2023

Hello everyone,

We’ve had a lot of sunny weather recently. Many of you probably have been out and about soaking in all the sun and making the most of it – I’m the same – although, I’m not a huge fan of the heat, so I tend to stay in the shade and keep cool. Most days I’m either at my sewing machine or working on a hand embroidery project, however, I do like to help my Mum out in the garden sometimes. Even though I suffer with hay fever (which is an absolute nightmare because I love nature), once a day I like to walk around the garden and look at all the beautiful plants. Every day there’s always something new to see. It’s wonderful.

So, what’s been arriving at Sew-Drops recently? Let’s find out…

NEW IN: Daisy Lane Sewing Co. fabric panels by Debbie Shore –

So in my last blog, I mentioned that we would soon be stocking some brand new fabric panels from a very well-known designer. I can now reveal that the well-known designer is none other than Debbie Shore, and the panels are from her own brand, the Daisy Lane Sewing Company.

I’m really excited to be an official stockist of these. They’re made from 100% cotton which are printed right here in the UK, and they are only available to a limited number of outlets (which makes them even more special). Each of the panels also includes a PDF pattern with instructions for each of the sewing projects. We currently have the ‘Spring Garden’, ‘Wonderland’, and the ‘Highland’ panels available on our website.

Pre-cut Fat Quarters –

As well as fat quarter bundles, I have decided to add some pre-cut fat quarters to the website. There are over 80 individual fat quarters from a variety of different collections to choose from; these include fabrics by Liberty, Lewis & Irene, Moda, Craft Cotton Co., Henry Glass Fabrics, and Susybee Fabrics.

Future Fabric / Product Updates –

Finally, I just have to share a quick update about two fabric collections that we’ll be stocking. We’ve recently been informed by Craft Cotton Co. that the ‘Strawberry Picking’ FQ bundles, which were originally due to arrive this month, will now be arriving approx. the second week of July 2023, along with the festive ‘Welcome Home’ FQ bundles and panels.
